Little People of America (LPA) provides financial assistance to members who are attending college, either undergraduate or graduate, and who are attending national conferences for the first time. In addition, there are medical grants and adoption assistance grants available.
We encourage District 13 members to apply for this assistance when needed and be aware of the deadlines and guidelines for doing so.
All scholarship forms need to be completed and turned in by April 22, 2011. If you have received a scholarship in the past, you can still apply for new opportunities now. You will need a letter of recommendation from either your chapter president or the district president, Sheryl Hankins.
Details, applications and guidelines for all LPA grants and scholarships are online at the national LPA website: www.lpaonline.org.
